Auditel sponsors franchise podcast
13 Feb 2008 | Filed under: Press Releases
‘The Franchise Show’ (www.thefranchiseshow.net) is a monthly podcast featuring industry news, interviews and “how-to” guides. With contributions from franchisors, franchise bankers, lawyers and consultants, this podcast is providing up-to-date information on various topics related to starting a new franchise.
This innovation has been sponsored by Auditel, a leading white-collar professional franchise. Managing Director Chris Allison explains: “At Auditel, we have a real passion for franchising and feel that there is room for a site of this nature. After all, a survey by research firm BMRB found that nearly eight million Britons will go in search of a podcast in the next six months. Reading from the computer screen is a tedious task for many Internet users. Some of us learn better through audio and video.”
Episodes already completed include an introduction to franchising by Chris Allison; how to finance your franchise by Mark Scott, NatWest National Franchise Manager; the background to the franchise agreement by John Pratt, a Senior Partner in the specialist franchise legal firm Hamilton Pratt; and in-depth information from Brian Duckett of Howarth Franchising. Brian has spent twenty years in the industry as a franchisee, franchisor and a consultant. Questions and ideas for the show are welcomed by the host, Ed Brewer (ed@thefranchiseshow.net).
More people decide to start their own business early in the new year, according to research carried out by home business website Enterprise Nation. The sheer dread of returning to unrewarding or frustrating employment after the Christmas period is the spur for many to make a resolution to become their own boss. ‘The Franchise Show’ could inspire them to fulfil their talents and ambitions in supported self-employment.
Episodes can be found on the show site, www.thefranchiseshow.net or search for “The Franchise Show” in the iTunes podcast directory.
