It’s been an exciting week for the Auditel Network this week. Not only have we recruited our 10th new consultant of 2009 but we’ve been shortlisted for two Franchise Marketing Awards: Best Website and Best Recruitment Advertisement. Winners will be announced at a glitzy dinner on 20th March, which the Marketing and Recruitment Team will be lucky enough to attend. Fingers crossed and we’ll keep you posted as to the results.

Enterprise Nation hosts the UK’s largest website for home-based entrepreneurs and as well as providing hundreds of free resources, advising the government on this increasingly important sector of the economy and running the annual Home Business Awards they also produce an annual Home Business Report. The latest of these was published in October 2008 and one of the most surprising results (from their point of view, not ours!) was the number of respondents who started their home business by way of a franchise. We’re delighted to announce the appointment of Laurence Knott as our new Head of Marketing. Laurence has joined the Winchester-based Support Team as replacement for Nell Hinshelwood who after three years with us has left not only Auditel but also the UK and is currently traveling through India with her husband before settling into a new life in Australia.
