Auditel welcome Five new UK Franchise Partners on latest induction

Quintet begin their Auditel business journeys, on Spring 2025 induction

It has been a vibrant first quarter of the year for the Auditel network with franchisee success coupled with strong service demand creating a time of significant opportunity for new Auditel franchise Partners.  Five new ‘Member Firms / Partners’ joining the network on the latest six-week induction programme, that kicked off on 31st March.

Hailing from across the UK, the new individuals bring with them a wide range of industry and sector experiences whilst sharing similar objectives and motivation to become self-employed.  All seeking a business where they can achieve commercial success whilst making a meaningful impact to the planet too.

With over 30 years of heritage in procurement and cost management — particularly in the energy sector — Auditel’s evolution into carbon solutions has become a key focus for client engagement. Organisations of all sizes are under growing pressure to address and reduce their carbon emissions, driven by tightening legislation, customer expectations, competitive pressures, and a desire to lead in sustainability within their industries.

Auditel Commercial Director, Nick Tubb, welcomed the new Partners having also supported them through their exploration journey.  He says “I wish them all the very best for their exciting first steps into self-employment through Auditel.  Our training and support team are very experienced and will guide them as they grow their businesses over the months ahead.  Each of the new Partners have their own circumstances and objectives for their business, which highlights Auditel’s flexibility, and I look forward to tracking their progress and congratulating their milestone successes.”

One of the new Partners is Louise Jones, from Leeds. Louise has had a successful HR career specialising in global mobilisation for large firms.  Following a family-focussed career break after redundancy, Louise weighed up her options carefully, before looking at self-employment opportunities.

She explains “I’m really excited to be starting my Auditel business.  Coming from a Corporate background, I really wanted to explore a different career path which would allow me to diversify my skill set and also do something with good purpose that I could be passionate about.  Having young children, flexibility to fit around family life was a really important consideration factor when I was looking for a new opportunity.  When I discovered Auditel it seemed to tick all my boxes and going through the exploration process, speaking to the team and several franchisees, only increased my enthusiasm.

I’ve just completed the first training week and I’m really excited (and nervous!) about this new venture.  Lots to learn and it will take time and plenty of effort but I’m not afraid of working hard to achieve my long-term goals, and I cant wait to meet more of the Auditel network over the months ahead.”

Birmingham-based Ross White has a passion for broader sustainability.  Alongside bee keeping he is also the long-term Chair of his local allotment association. Following a successful career in leadership and governance roles in the charities and education sectors, identified Auditel back in Autumn 2024 before undertaking a thorough due diligence process.  At the outset of his Auditel business he expresses “I am delighted  to embark on this opportunity to build my new business venture with Auditel and I am very excited about what the future will bring“.

Julian Webb, from West London has also joined having exited the corporate world following a successful career in the IT Software sector, where he held senior director roles.  Greater flexibility was one of his motivations in becoming self-employed, and with Auditel, he recognises that this is one of the benefits he can achieve with his business, once established

He says “I was impressed by the franchisees I spoke with, and the head office team throughout my research process.  I’m under no illusions I’m going to have to work hard and smart to achieve the goals I have in mind, but I’m confident that plenty of graft, following the Auditel business model and utilising the network resources will put me on the pathway to success.  I’m looking forward to completing training and getting started”.

On the course also is an experienced Building Energy Management specialist who is looking forward to having more time control and flexibility as well as scope to learn and progress within the carbon solutions world, which aligns well with their existing experience.

Onur Akoz, from London, having a consultancy background specialising in Data and Decision Sciences, has also joined the Auditel Business Community. He explains his motivation behind his decision “I’m keen to have a portfolio career over time with different business interests, developing new business opportunities around my existing expertise, whilst also learning new areas.  The world of carbon solutions consultancy presents a clear and significant opportunity, not only from a business value generation perspective but also in terms of serving a higher purpose of mitigating the climate change. So, I’m looking forward to starting my Auditel venture, the learnings associated with it and collaborating with the wider network too.”

Tubb summarises: “This is an incredibly exciting time to be joining Auditel. Businesses are facing increasing pressure to manage their greenhouse gas emissions — whether from legislation, consumer expectations, competitive positioning, investor scrutiny, public sector procurement, or simply a commitment to doing the right thing. What’s clear is that more and more companies are now proactively approaching us for guidance, driven by a real concern that they’ll be left behind if they don’t act soon to reduce their carbon footprint.”

He continues: “The UK’s legal commitment to reach Net Zero by 2050 is a powerful driver, and while media coverage can sometimes make it feel like progress is uneven, there are undeniable strides being made in decarbonisation. This shift presents a tremendous opportunity to build a thriving consultancy in the sustainability space. In fact, last year we saw our new franchisees grow their client bases faster than ever before — and that momentum shows no signs of slowing down.”
